Be Part of History: Move to NH for More Individual Liberty!

A little personal history as a plea to encourage more people to move ASAP and come WORK YOUR OWN MAGIC-SAUCE FOR A FREER FUTURE.

My husband and I bought our 4 bd 3 bathroom atomic ranch on a cul de sac in Manchester in 2017. At the time, I negotiated pretty hard and we got a great deal, paying under $250K. I said to Louis, if I do my job right with growing the Free State, the house should be worth $1M+ in 20 years.

I got the estimate below yesterday from someone who wants my property so looks like we’re on track… yes, some of that is prolly inflationary, and the housing market is softening somewhat and prices may start to drop.. but probably not as much as other places bc we have less supply and high demand, so I hope you will be ready to pounce!

The value proposition of living in liberty in NH was established by the thousands of early movers (2007-2012), and cemented by the movers fleeing Covidmania over the last 2 years, and we now need a third wave to come!

If you value individual liberty, NH is already one of the best places in the world to live, and it will only become even more so.

BUT, we DO need YOU to come help!

Consider, it’s actually very early in this movement. I have to remind myself of that sometimes bc I moved in 2008 and have been slogging away at expanding liberty for 14 years, so it doesn’t always feel that way, but it is true.

YOU too can be part of world history!

Imagine: YOU can still be part of building the likes of a Switzerland or Iceland or Estonia from the ground up (picked bc their population sizes/canton system/property rights).

Imagine YOU can still be early in the equivalent of Silicon Valley in the 1980s, and you could still get a decent house in Palo Alto for under $350,000.

Imagine YOU are one of first 10,000 brave enough to be founders of a new country… Or, at the very least, you were part of the movement that brought federalism and states’ rights back to America, making the entire country more free as a result.

What are YOU waiting for? Are YOU planning your next visit? Are YOU telling your liberty friends about us? Are YOU ready for LIBERTY IN OUR LIFETIME? Because we are ready to welcome you to the freest of free states! Live free and thrive!

Saucy! Learning New Skills in My Freedomnomnom Kitchen

This crime scene was delicious! Bardo Farm pork chop and parmesan caulimash with a “tomato butter sauce”(ish).

This time of year, I start catching up on cooking shows, and this motivates me to try new things… this time, with some leftover ripe tomatoes from last night’s casual dinner with friends.

Driving back from our hike this morning, I told Louis Calitz if I was ever on a cooking show, I’d nail the proteins–my fish is always *glistening*–but I have almost zero experience in sauces, so I’d get eliminated for not being able to “elevate a dish”.

So I came home, ordered a sauce cookbook, then made this random tomato crime scene, and we’ll see how it goes in the future!

Supermodel for a Day!?!

I bet y’all didn’t know I was once a red-headed “supermodel” for a day in Brazil, huh? Lol (This came up in my TBT memories from years ago.)

I’m sharing it because… why the hell not? I look hot and I’ll never be that young or that fit or have a red perm ever again.

I love that Carla, who was 21 or 22, just graduated from law school & I *think* this was the trip when Louis came with to visit my parents when Dad was Consul in Rio/Brasilia.

EDIT, I was 20 because when Louis came with me to Brazil, I just remembered, my hair was shorter, see here:

That Carla was brazen, excited, with her whole life ahead of her. Now, almost 30 years later, life hasn’t disappointed.

Yes, there have been challenges and dreams that haven’t come to fruition, most notably a devastating miscarriage in my second trimester a few months before we moved to NH in 2008.

Life ends up being highs and lows, some through the choices we make, and sometimes, through just plain, uncontrollable bad luck.

While you cannot control the shitty curve balls, you CAN control how you respond.

You can let crap knock you down and keep you there in a world of hurt and excuses and sadness, or you can pick yourself up, and plant your feet firmly back on your proverbial river rock.

I was taught to stand up every time, no matter what, and to accept the things I cannot change and focus on where *I CAN* make a difference.

Just as I stood on that rock all those years ago, bold and beautiful, I stand for liberty and freedom in the Free State of New Hampshire, the place I chose as my forever home.

Here I stand now, wider, grayer, wiser, but still bold and brazen and brave, because fighting for freedom these days takes balls.

Here I stand, ready for whatever life throws my way next! (I hope it’s a House seat! Lol SUPPORT MY RACE!)

My Life in Balance Series (#6-#10)

People seem to be digging these! 🙂 Backstory: I am a bit of a weirdo who tends to spend waaaaay too much time in my head talking myself out of presenting the things I do.

Not not doing things, doing things and then not sharing them with anyone. That’s my issue.

Some people struggle with producing, I struggle with the confidence to put what I make out there. Or rather, I… used to? Or, at least, I am… learning to not care as much but rather just do it. If people respond, GREAT, if they don’t, tomorrow is another day! Neatly summed up by this one:

This series came to me during my last fast, from September 6-10, 2022 (yes, that’s 5 days!). I’m going to consider it either divine inspiration or madness due to hunger, but what the hey, I’ll take it!

Here are a couple of additional ones from this week. The “Donut” one is the most popular thus far.

Since this week was pretty good for me in terms of focusing on “making things (badly)” <—the permission I have to give my own mind in order to put things out there, here are a few other images I made using some apps. I use Prisma for different effects and Layout for general stuff.

Many Small Steps Lead to Big Rewards… If YOU want!

A reminder on this Saturday morning: #LiveFreeAndThrive!

YOU are the master of your destiny and YOUR CHOICES matter.

If you’re dissatisfied with an aspect of your life, be honest with yourself. Write it down and then jot down 3 things you could immediately start to do to change.

For example: say you want to eliminate unnecessary carbs from your life. Three things you could do is:
1. Purge your pantry: Get rid of those snackies that don’t serve your health. Eliminating the temptation is huge.
2. Buy an assortment of nuts (NOT PEANUTS, that’s a legume) for hand-to-mouth cravings.
3. Substitute a salad or, less ideal but still better, sweet potato fries instead of spuds at restaurants.

Suddenly, changing doesn’t seem insurmountable.

For the next week, implement your three steps for the change you are working on. Then find another change you want to implement and repeat!

Keep adding, don’t backslide on forward momentum, and soon, you will look at your life and say, “Wow! Putting your mind to something, breaking it down into smaller steps, and then just doing ‘the little things,’ WORKS!”
